Otto Kapfinger

Born in 1949 in St Pölten, Lower Austria. Lives in Vienna, working as a freelance architecture researcher; 1967–72, architectural studies at the Vienna University of Technology; 1970, co-founder of the experimental group Missing Link; 1981–91, architecture critic for Die Presse and Spectrum; 1984–90, teaching post at the University of Applied Arts Vienna; 1997–99, guest professor at the University of Art and Design Linz; 1997–2001, on the architectural advisory board in Salzburg; author of numerous books, curator of exhibitions on contemporary architecture in Austria.
