Hans Joachim Gögl

Born in 1968 in Vorarlberg. Freelance curator. Apprenticeship as a book dealer; on the editorial team for radio programmes on culture and the arts at the ORF studio for Vorarlberg. In 1992, he opened a PR consultancy. In recent years, he has been deeply involved with new dramaturgies for interpersonal encounters, networking, and collective learning. In tandem with the St Arbogast educational centre, he was organizer of the Tage der Utopie (Days of Utopia) and programme director for VLOW! – Festival im Zwischenraum Kommunikation, Design, Architektur (exploring the common ground between communication, design, and architecture) and the Tri International Symposium on Energy-Efficient Architecture. He has authored a range of publications and received a number of awards, including the Austrian State Prize for Adult Education. Since 2011, he has been a visiting lecturer on communication design for management in the social sector at the University of Graz.
