Rudolf Wäger

Born in 1941 in Götzis, Vorarlberg. After primary school, he worked in a factory for two years. He subsequently did a three-year apprenticeship as a carpenter at the trade school in Bregenz and passed his journeyman's exam. In 1960, he began working together with his brothers Heinz and Siegfried and produced a variety of plans and technical designs for single-family houses. Having trained himself, he worked independently from 1968 on. He designed and built numerous timber houses and drew up plans for row houses. Later he also worked on housing estates for developers. His main area of activity is still designing and supervising the construction of single-family houses. From time to time, he takes part in competitions in independent collaboration with colleagues. Since 2006, he has been retired and now only involves himself with small projects.
